Bioinformatics.Org has supported the advocacy of freedom and openness in bioinformatics, primarily by hosting the development of Open Source software and general information projects. In response to the increasing membership and popularity of the web site, additional bioinformatics-related resources have been added, including research and educational resources, and portal services. This talk describes the existing resources and those planned for the future of Bioinformatics.Org, such as a distributed data-flow management system for research.
