Crawford describes the BioKnowledge Retriever, which enables detailed analyses of user-defined protein sets and entire proteomes using literature-based assignments of a protein's Gene Ontology terms, detailed expression patterns, Pfam domain structure, disease relationships, and mouse mutant phenotypes. The Retriever also allows detailed searches of structure-based GO predictions.
