The Macintosh platform, especially Mac OS X and XServe, is being rapidly
embraced as the ideal platform for scientific research. This is your chance
find out how Apple hardware and software is being used to enhance the
research process, and streamline the 'grant-proposal to published-paper'
workflow. Bring stories of how you are already using Mac OS X, or
questions about what it would take for you to become a "switcher". There
will also be a brief presentation by Apple showcasing some of their latest
technologies.
The session facilitators will be Dr. Ernest Prabhakar, Product Line Manager Developer Platforms, Apple & Robert Kehrer, Life Science Partnership Manager and Bioinformaticist, Apple.
