Session
SAML - An Enabling Technology for Single Sign-on
Rima Patel, Technology Evangelist, Sun Microsystems
Track: Distributed
Date: Tuesday, May 14
Time: 10:30am - 11:15am
Location: Stevens Creek
Single sign-on is an essential component for the solutions operating in
today's digital economy. But the question is, what are the viable ways
for implementing this functionality? The industry needs an open standard for implementing single sign-on that can make the security infrastructures of different organizations interoperate with each other. One such standard that this session talks about in detail is Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), currently in-progress at OASIS.
