Walter Wright
Walter Wright is a Supervisory Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington D.C. He is currently the national program manager for outreach, at the National Infrastructure Protection Center, where he is in charge of the center’s liaison efforts to private industry in the area of computer crimes and infrastructure protection.
As a Special Agent with the FBI, Mr. Wright has extensive experience conducting white collar crime and fraud investigations. He has been assigned to Bank Fraud, Stocks & Bonds, and Governmental Fraud Squads in the FBI’s New York field office. He has considerable knowledge of accounting and auditing principles, compiling and analyzing evidence, principles of civil and criminal federal law investigations. Since his assignment to Washington, Mr. Wright has been assigned as a lead investigator to the 105th Congress Select Committee on the Transfer of Technology to China, popularly known as the Cox Committee. He was also an investigator at the Office of the Independent Counsel (OIC).
