Chris DiBona, Google, Inc.

Track: Social Software
Date: Friday, April 25
Time: 3:15pm - 4:00pm

This talk explores some of the thinking behind the social, economic and political infrastructural technology that is being created for the Rekonstruction, a massively multiplayer online game targeting north American release in late 2004 and global release a year later. Chris DiBona discusses the guilds and factions, the economic model, and how the back story is being designed to accommodate them in a creative fashion.
