In the past few years, Amazon.com began transforming itself from an online retailer to something even greater -- a platform for developers, ISVs and System Integrators to program against. This workshop examines the Amazon platform in depth, with a specific focus on the company's Web Services APIs, launched in the summer of 2002.
Questions that will be addressed: What is Amazon's business rationale for becoming a platform? How can developers work with Amazon? What are the nuts and bolts behind Amazon's APIs? What types of solutions can developers create, and who do they create them for? What is the future of Amazon Web Srvices?
Amazon.com employees and third party developers share case studies and demonstrations. This full-day workshop includes breakfast and lunch and is very interactive -- so bring your creativity and your laptops.
Space is limited. Register no later than April 14, 2003 by sending an email to lholder@oreilly.com. Please include the following information: name, title, company, mailing address, phone number and email address.
