Play Time

Track: Birds of a Feather
Date: Thursday, April 24
Time: 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Location: Stevens Creek

Moderator: Jane Pinckard and Justin Hall (from GameGirlAdvance.com)

Description: Justin wants to play with play partners, come take off your shoes and get down! bring your hackey sack! yeah! p.s. Jane will be having a serious discussion about what games mean to culture in the corner: Electronic games are a compelling digital distraction, but also a grand social experiment, a battleground for rights management (region encoding anyone?), a testing field for cyberlaw (Everquest on Ebay), and a training device for young future soldiers. Games continue to warp us, developing our minds and skills for digital living or turning us into twitchy distracted dorks.
