Donald A. Norman
Don Normanís goal is to help companies make products that appeal to the emotions as well as to reason. He is cofounder of the Nielsen Norman Group and serves on numerous company advisory boards. He is Professor of Computer Science and Psychology at Northwestern University and former Vice President of Apple Computerís Advanced Technology Group. Norman is the author of "The Design of Everyday Things," "Things That Make Us Smart" and "The Invisible Computer," His newest book "Emotional Design: Why We Love (Or Hate) Everyday Things" emphasizes the role of emotions in product design.
