Dennis Crowley, Director of Product Development, area/code
Surj Patel

Date: Monday, March 14
Time: 1:30pm - 5:00pm
Location: California Ballroom B

Short Message Service (SMS) is known primarily for flurries of misspelled communication between members of the younger set as they dash hither and yon. Often overlooked is its potential as the substrate of network services beyond mere messaging. This tutorial takes you through the process of designing your own SMS-based application, building an aggregator from scratch or making use of one of many aggregation services, receiving and processing incoming messages, and sending notifications to your users.
