Tiger introduces a number of breakthrough technologies that have the potential to change how you use your computer, as well as how you develop and deliver applications.
Spotlight is a new desktop search technology that transforms the organization and navigation of your files and data by making search a central part of the user experience. Dashboard gives new life to small applications by providing an environment that provides rapid access to applications built using Web standards, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Automator helps to redefine the role of applications by providing end users with the ability to combine specific features from a variety of applications to create powerful automated workflows.
The presentation examines each of these technologies and how they can change the way end users look at the information and applications on their computers.
