Richard is the Principal Group Program Manager of Microsoft’s Speech Components Group (SCG). Recent SCG work includes producing eight languages of speech recognition (SR) integrated into Windows Vista. Richard has been with Microsoft since 1997, when his previous employer WebTV was acquired by Microsoft.
