Workshop
CCXML Bootcamp: Make Any Phone Jump Through Hoops
RJ Auburn, CTO, Voxeo Corporation
Date: Tuesday, January 24
Time: 1:45pm
- 3:15pm
Location: Salon ABCD
CCXML is the sister standard to VXML. Whereas VXML can be used to create talking web applications, CCXML (Call Control XML) is the W3C standard that can be used to create everything else. In this intense 90-minute session, Voxeo's CTO RJ Auburn -- who is also Editor and Chair of the CCXML standard -- will show you how to build everything from custom call routers to IP-PBX's, IP-call centers, session border controllers, and conferencing solutions, using any web application language or server. RJ will also show how the latest generation of drag and drop VoiceXML and CCXML design tools let you build telephony apps in just minutes. Finally, RJ will provide a sneak peak into SCXML (State Chart XML), the new W3C standard effort that defines the future of VoiceXML 3, CCXML 2, and a handful of other new state-based application languages from the W3C.
