| Brent Lang Vocera Communications, Inc. Brent Lang is vice president of marketing for Vocera Communications, Inc., the innovative wireless communications company with the only wearable hands-free, instant voice communications system available. He joined Vocera with the goal of taking a big idea and turning it into an operating enterprise, strategically positioning Vocera Communications as the leader in wireless instant voice communication. Since joining the company in 2001, Lang has set the agenda for seeking new and organic growth. He is credited with identifying target markets and developing pricing and channel strategies--setting the stage for significant domestic and global expansion in target markets. Furthermore, he was instrumental in securing more than $29 million in capital funding. Before joining Vocera Communications, Lang held a six-year tenure at 3Com Corporation where he co-founded the Home Networking Division and spearheaded rapid growth for the organization's Fast Ethernet Network Interface Card business. Other work experience includes a strategy consultant position for Monitor Company, where he advised well-known Fortune 500 clients in market entry, segmentation, and competitive analysis. Lang graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering. He also holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. |
