Speaker

Roberto Tagliabue
Nike TechLab

Roberto Tagliabue has grown up in the design and fashion environment of Milan, Italy. Since the early '90s, he has been an active player in the world of interactive media, design of product experience, and digital brand identity.

At Razorfish, London, he helped big corporate and fashion firms lead the digital revolution. At Motorola's Advanced Concept Group in Boston, he drove design research and product development for next-generation mobile devices and services. Currently at Nike TechLab as digital experience director, he is designing innovative wearable products to enrich the sport experience.

Tagliabue's work highlights the value of design beyond the cosmetic; designing the experience of a digital product is about understanding how devices and services tap into people's lives and about how and why we use technology in the ways we do. Design answers our desires as consumers, our expectations as users, and our impulses as human beings. His work starts from these deep emotional enablers to help envision and develop innovative product experiences for a seamless transition into a modern way of living.
