Software radio has long been an esoteric subject and in the realm of high research labs. Transmitters and receivers that can change frequency by changing software variables. Initial hardware was very expensive and hard to come by, but that was all changed with the introduction of the GNU software radio project.
In this workshop, Matt Ettus leads us through acquiring and building the software radio kit, programming it, brief case studies, and uses in the real world with this awe-inspiring piece of hardware and software that you can build yourself. We are thrilled to be presenting this at ETel.
