Workshop

Design and Prototyping of Telco Network APIs

David Beckemeyer, Founder and CEO, TelEvolution, Inc.
Rob Frederick, Technical Product and Program Manager, Snapvine Inc.

Date: Tuesday, February 27
Time: 1:30pm - 3:00pm
Location: Salon F

Two industry gurus will lead a session on how to design APIs for the communications world. David Beckemeyer was the technical muscle during the founding of EarthLink and Rob Frederick designed the Amazon Web Services API during his time at Amazon. Beckemeyer will cover how network and device APIs can be prototyped and tested using Phonegnome; Frederick will cover deeper architectural issues and the consequences of inappropriate API design.

If you are looking to make your communications product into a communications platform, then the API is essential. As such, make sure you have the right information before you design your API with take-away information from this workshop.
