In this workshop, two leading practitioners take a look at the design of products for communication—not the graphic design and look and feel but, rather, the planning of a product properly for the intended audience.
Mark Simpkins, of St Martin's College, will talk about the design of mobile products when geared around a specific need, and Mussie Shore, a designer by training, will talk about how to apply agile development cycles and rapid prototyping. These practices have been proven to help minimize bad product design.
