The XULRunner platform allows for convergence of rich-client and web-based applications: application designers and developers can flexibly mix rich-client and web-based application development techniques. Rich-client applications can be written in familiar languages such as HTML and XHTML with Ajax techniques, XUL, and/or SVG.

This talk will demonstrate a range of XULRunner-based applications and deployment strategies, including traditional rich-client installers, browser-based installation, and web deployment.
