The mobile web is still only on the horizon for many developers today, but Moore's Law implies that it's more-or-less inevitable. This talk will explore the current state of mobile phone browsers, why the UI idioms of traditional web pages might not work, some alternatives, and a look at the constraints that shape both the platform and the content.

This talk will examine questions like: What do the carriers want? What about the device manufacturers? What features do mobile browsers need that desktop browsers don't?
