Florian von Kurnatowski leads Scalix’s open source initiative, with the goal of assuring through strong community engagement and partnerships with other open source projects that the company's messaging and calendaring platform develops into a robust foundation and a cornerstone of a full open source enterprise application stack.Prior to joining Scalix in 2004, he was founder and partner in a consulting and training firm specializing in open systems, enterprise IT, and emerging technologies. An early adopter and evangelist of Linux-based technology, he looks back at more than a decade of enterprise messaging experience in both legacy and open environments. von Kurnatowski is a frequent speaker at technology and open source events in both the US and Europe.
