FIFFS is a massive data mining, classification, AI, coffe cooking system. To put it in a nutshell, it adapts to your newsfeed reading habits to classify and rate news. Furthermore, FIFFS attempts to do context based news clustering in order to reduce redundancies in your daily news reading routine.
Using the full power of the CPAN, FIFFS is a perfect symbiosis of Text::Compare, Class::DBI, AI::Categorizer, CGI::Application, LWP::Simple and XML::RSS.
This talk gives a basic overview as well technical details about the techologies used inside the application. Additionally, a live demonstration of an FIFFS installation will be done and installation instructions will be given. In the end, there will be time to discuss the remaining issues with the given implementation and future plans will be outlined.
