Jim Callaghan joined Computer Associates plc in 1995 with the acquisition of Legent Corporation. At this time, he continued his role as a software consultant working specifically with databases and application development tools. Jim moved into Product Marketing in 1997 and has held several positions connected with Ingres and related technologies. In his current role, he is responsible for product management of the Ingres database family of products including Ingres r3 which has recently been released into the open source community. Jim is a regular speaker at a variety of client gatherings, industry events and conferences.
