Building Business Component Models Using Analysis Patterns

Eric Lefebvre, Coad-certified Mentor, TogetherSoft

Track: Architecture
Date: Wednesday, March 28
Time: 1:30pm - 2:15pm
Location: Ballroom F

Peter Coad and Eric Lefebvre have built a set of enterprise component models, that cover the main enterprise business functions. These models, built from their large experience in business object modeling, have been presented in the book 'Java Modeling in Color with UML: Enterprise Components and Process'. They also showed how to build object models using four archetypes, which are the elementary building blocks of any object model, and a Domain Neutral Component, based on these four archetypes, which constitutes a very general and easy to use analysis pattern.
