The JavaTM 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EETM) provides several choices for designing enterprise applications. This session will present some recommendations, design discussions, and patterns for choosing from these options and explain the trade-offs involved. The session will also address key questions related to application architecture, component design with JavaServer PagesTM and EJBTM technologies, transactions, EIS resource access and deployment, and cover application interoperability using XML.
