Recently it has become possible to implement a complete Java enterprise solution using only open source components. But which ones work best? Ed Lyons has extensive experience in creating durable open-source J2EE solutions by knowing what the bugs and integration issues are. This session will discuss what's out there (PostgreSQL, jBoss, Enhydra, OpenEJB, Tomcat, etc.) and demonstrate the development and deployment of a complete open-source solution using EJBs, Servlets and JSPs.
