What's New In Jaguar: The AddressBook Framework
Michael Beam

Track: Programming
Date: Thursday, October 03
Time: 10:45am - 11:30am
Location: Lafayette/San Tomas/Lawrence

In Jaguar, the Address Book went from being an isolated island of information to an integral part of the Mac OS X user experience with the release of the AddressBook framework. This framework allows Cocoa developers to access the same database of contacts used by Mail, Address Book, and iChat in their own applications. In this session you will learn how to incorporate the AddressBook framework into application so that it is not isolated from the user's address book.
