Obul Kambham, Effigent, Inc.

Track: Products and Services
Date: Wednesday, October 02
Time: 2:15pm - 3:00pm
Location: Camino Real

Sybase and Effigent will present development-tool support for Sybase's ASE platform on the Macintosh. Many application developers have been interested in deploying enterprise solutions on the Mac for some time, but needed the underlying infrastructure to make it possible. Now, with Sybase's new ASE 12.5 on Jaguar, they can deliver the customer driven applications they need on the platform they want." Sybase now supports a broad range of tools and languages including FileMaker, 4D, REALbasic, Omnis Studio, MacSQL, Lasso, AppleScript, and PHP. Also, "learn how WebObjects will automatically fetch, catch and update the data for you from any JDBC 2 database or JNDI service -- you may never need to write another line of SQL." http://www.apple.com/webobjects
