Apple has recently introduced a beta set of AppleScript functions that allow a scripter to control applications with no AppleScript capabilities. This beta software allows the ability to control GUI elements through AppleScript, meaning that you can control most non-Classic applications without having to depend on developer implementation of AppleScript.
Stevko's session covers how it works, how to develop AppleScripts using Apple's GUI Scripting and UI Element Inspector, and how it can be used in current applications. Examples will be presented.
