Apple Computer’s decision to market AirPort was a major boost to the acceptance of 802.11b in general computing. Apple continues to lead, building Bluetooth technology into the latest notebooks and more recently marketing AirPort Extreme (802.11g). Apple’s technology puts users on the cutting edge of wireless networking, without the need to understand the details of the technology. This talk will explain what is going on under the hood and how to take maximum advantage of the wireless capabilities of your Max OS X system.
