High Performance Networking: What features does the current G5 have that will allow it to perform well as a high performance NAS server? What features are missing? (Some topics: QOS, Zero Copy, fine grained locking, checksum offload, Large send offload, VLAN, Load Balancing).
High Performance fileserving: Can the G5 do it?
Some topics: Guaranteed bandwidth, directIO, iSCSI, failover, Clustered filesystems.
RAS (reliability and Serviceability): ECC memory, Rack mounting, redundant power, hot plug, partitioning.
