With WebKit, Apple provides an easy way to include HTML display and browsing in your applications. Many applications other than web browsers can benefit from displaying HTML.

But people are used to browsing the Web in browsers; they're not used to using browsers embedded in other applications.

Some user interface challenges arise in apps where browsing is included but is not the main feature. Should you include back and forward buttons? Bookmarks? History? Tabbed browsing? A downloads manager?

We'll look at the approaches taken by a variety of applications that display HTML, including feedreaders, weblog editors, and iTunes.
