Leveraging Open Source Tools for MySQL Development

This session will focus on the basic fundamentals of using the rich set of eclipse plug-ins that are available when creating web interfaces to MySQL. This session is geared to the novice that would like to understand what programming tools can be used when creating basic PHP scripts for MySQL. This session will also provide a quick tutorial on the various eclipse plug-ins that make your development chores easier and more efficient.

The focus of this session will be on on Open Source components that can be used on most platforms to leverage the speed and power of MySQL. These components are also available as part of the Novell product offering, however this session is about leveraging the wealth of Open Source tools and does not particularly focus on Novell products.
