Thomas Weeks joined Rackspace in 1999 and currently serves as lead systems engineer in the SMB segment. Weeks has worked in several areas of Rackspace including system administration, corporate technical training, and as a liaison between customer technical support, security, product and engineering departments. Prior to joining Rackspace, Weeks worked with several large government IT/security firms in the positions of test and integration lab coordinator, system administrator, as well as electrical and systems engineer. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies from Texas A&M University, with a Telecom specialty. Weeks recently coauthored the new book, Linux Troubleshooting Bible (Wiley), and has also been president of the San Antonio technology user group "X-otic Computer Systems of San Antonio" (xcssa.org) since 1996.
