| Clay Webster Associate VP of Platform Infrastructure CNET Networks, Inc. Clay Webster is the associate vice president of Platform Infrastructure at CNET. He has worked at CNET for almost ten years in a variety of roles; from lead developer of Shareware.com and Download.com, to running a speed and capacity swat group. Previous to CNET, he managed one of the first website hosting operations. Mr. Webster is currently responsible for most of CNET's server platforms including search servers, web servers, and application servers. He is always transitioning platforms from the closed to the open. One of Webster's latest search platforms is an enterprise search service built around MySQL's Full-Text system. |
