Chris DiBona is the Open Source Programs Manager at Google, Inc. He is responsible for a number of programs including the Summer of Code, open source license compliance and releasing open source software on Google's Code website, which can be found at Code.
Before joining Google, Chris was an editor/author for the popular online
website Slashdot.org . An internationally known advocate for open source software and related methodologies, Chris speaks regularly and writes for a great number of publications. He co-edited the award-winning anthologies Open Sources
and Open Sources 2.0 from O'Reilly Media, produces the FLOSS Weekly podcast and is a cat owner.
