Christine Martino

Christine Martino is the vice president of the Open Source & Linux Organization (OSLO) at Hewlett-Packard. In this role, she has responsibility for engineering, marketing, open source community participation and linkage, as well as the HP Open Source and Linux indemnity and IP protection programs. With Hewlett-Packard since 1988, Martino has a broad, proven track record of planning and operational excellence.
Prior to her current position, she was director of business planning and development for OSLO, leading strategy development, cross-organizational linkage, and new business initiatives. Before joining OSLO, Martino led the Carrier Grade business for BCS, where ninety percent of sales were Linux-based. She took this business from start-up mode to a multimillion dollar, profitable HP business that continues strong growth today. In addition, she has held marketing management and technical marketing management roles in the HP Video Communications Division where she helped take HP from a virtual unknown to #2 in the Broadcast server marketplace.
Martino reports to Martin Fink, vice president and general manager of both the NonStop Enterprise Division and OSLO, HP.
