A. J. Blanchard Blanchard has 21 years of industry experience, all of it in the telecommunications software sector. Of this experience, 14 years has been spent in the OAM&P (Operations, Administration, Maintenance and Provisioning) area for telecommunications devices. He has worked for such companies as Tandem Telecommunication, Nortel, DSC Communications, and then Alcatel when they purchased DSC in 1998. In 1999, he felt the startup bug and late that year joined IPCell. He became a senior team lead of the OAM&P for the softswitch product. After IPCell was purchased in 2001, he became a Cisco Systems employee working on the BTS 10200. MySQL and the Cisco Systems VoIP Softswitch
