Session

Developing High Performance Application Using NDB/J

Johan Andersson, Principal Consultant, MySQL AB

Track: MySQL Cluster and High Availability
Date: Thursday, April 26
Time: 11:50am - 12:35pm
Location: Ballroom G

With MySQL Cluster it is possible to build high-performance and high-available systems. In this session, Johan Andersson presents NDB/J, a Java wrapper around the Cluster Direct API (NDBAPI) that allows developers to take advantage of the power of the NDBAPI in Java applications. He will discuss how to use NDB/J, where it can be used, and show simple examples of how to build high-performing and fault-tolerant applications in order to quickly get developers started in using a new way of accessing data stored in MySQL Cluster.
