Ticketmaster, the world's leading ticketing company, sold 100 million tickets valued at $5 billion in 2004. The percentage of tickets sold through www.ticketmaster.com, one of the largest e-commerce sites on the Internet, continues to grow. Ticketmaster is using MySQL to power the "event" databases for www.ticketmaster.com. In this discussion, Ed Presz will focus on MySQL replication at Ticketmaster. Topics include:

Performance
Tips for improving replication performance.

Availability

Reporting
Ticketmaster.com use MySQL replicated environments for reporting and CRM. Presz will provide an architecture diagram as well as discuss some of the tricks used at Ticketmaster for MySQL replication.
