Performing complex queries against vast amounts of information in a data warehouse can be impossible. This technical session will discuss how BrightHouse, the analytic storage engine for MySQL, achieves 10:1 compression of raw data and uses knowledge about the data to efficiently execute analytic queries, all using the simplicity of MySQL.
