Hampton Catlin

Developer, Unspace Interactive

Hampton Catlin has been developing web applications since high school and recently fell in love all over again with the web when he found the Ruby on Rails platform. Before that, he helped develop a distributed data crunching system to help Nasa analyze satellite weather data. More recently, Hampton is the inventor of the Haml markup language, Sass (Haml for CSS), and the LetIt::REST Rails modules. He is also co-author on the "Beginning Rails" book by Apress. Hampton is currently a developer at Unspace Interactive in Toronto, Ontario.
