Ron Goldman is a hacker currently working for Sun Microsystems on ways to encourage community development around Jini and other technologies. Prior to getting involved with Community and Open Source Software development, he created visualization software for social scientists, and before that developed various programming environments. He has a PhD in computer science from Stanford University.
