Universidad Carlos III de Madrid

Peter T. Breuer is Associate Professor at the Univ. Carlos II de Madrid in Madrid Spain. He is known for his work on formal methods, particularly in connection with hardware design and the hardware design language VHDL. He has spent a working life in research in the Engineering department of the University of Cambridge, the Computing Laboratory of the University of Oxford, and the Telecommunications School of the Polytecnic University of Madrid. In the free software world, he is probably best known for his compiler-compiler PRE-CC, an infinite lookahead, fully attributed language compiler that fits on top of C and C++ and has been in use around the world for ten years.
