  • Visual effects: gradients, patterns, clipping, masking, compositing and filtering
  • Animation: declarative animation & DOM animation
  • Styling: use of CSS for coloring, applying clipping and filtering
  • Integration of SVG in an XML / XSLT workflow
  • Looking forward: SVG integration in products, comparison with other vector graphics formats (Flash) and future progress
