This session describes how to improve the performance of Apache servers. Many people who configure Apache web servers are not UNIX Sys Admins; conversely, many UNIX Sys Admins have never designed a system specifically to optimize performance for Apache. The session includes specific suggestions for initial layout of the filesystem on a server to maximize performance enhancement.
