This presentation introduces and reviews the multiple business uses of Apache + mod_ssl, from securing E-commerce sites, with customer data and credit card transactions to Intranet sites with corporate information and backend system interfaces. An example corporate environment with the various needs is used to demonstrate how to implement and maintain secure these secure services.
