Dresdner made the decision to open the openadaptor code base to potentially reduce their cost of development as well as improve connectivity with its business partners. openadaptor is an enterprise integration toolkit, written in Java, that allows the simple integration of any system to any other system, enabling integration of the complete supply chain, plus internal systems, while allowing access to the web - information is shared across systems without the need to customize each application.
