David Axmark David Axmark is one of the founders of MySQL AB and has been working with MySQL since before it had a name. His involvement with MySQL began with the idea to make an open source SQL RDBMS to replace an old terminal-based tool named UNIREG. MySQL Replication: Scaling to New Heights
