Long a proponent of Linux as a business tool, Russell Pavlicek is currently a Senior Linux Architect for autonomic computing innovator Cassatt Corporation. He is a panelist on The Linux Show weekly webcast and a contributor to a number of Linux websites. He was a regular Open Source columnist for InfoWorld and Processor magazines. A Linux user since 1995, Pavlicek wrote one of the first books to explain the value of the open source movement.
